Lily Grace Anderson

March 22, 2019July 14, 2026

Charlotte, North Carolina · Charlotte, North Carolina

Lily Grace Anderson was born on March 22, 2019, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Christopher and Amanda Anderson. From her very first days, Lily had a way of making the people around her feel like the luckiest people in the world. She arrived with a full head of dark hair and eyes that seemed to already be taking everything in, and she never really stopped. Lily loved butterflies, the color yellow, strawberry ice cream, and her stuffed elephant named Peanut, who went everywhere she went. She loved splashing in puddles after rain, dancing in the kitchen while her mom cooked, and sitting in her dad's lap while he read to her — always asking for one more chapter, always negotiating for more time. She was seven years old and already the kind of person who remembered to say thank you and who noticed when someone was sad. She started first grade at Pinecrest Elementary School in the fall of 2025 and made friends immediately, the way she always did. Her teacher described her as curious, kind, and the first to include anyone who seemed left out. She loved art class most of all and filled notebooks with drawings of animals, rainbows, and her family. Lily Grace Anderson left this world on July 14, 2026, after a brief illness. She was seven years old. The light she brought into every room she entered does not go out — it lives in every person who loved her, and in the world she made brighter simply by being in it.
